Dear Church Family,
We have good news! As of April 1st, we will lift our mask, social distancing, and contact tracing requirements. You will no longer need to RSVP for in-person worship.
If you are at higher risk for COVID-19, however, we do encourage you to continue to use our Zoom worship option, which will remain the same. At least for now, we will also refrain from Aloha Reception and shared Communion elements.
Plan to come to church for our special Easter worship service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 17. We will also be celebrating baptism and welcoming new members. After service, you won't want to miss fun Easter activities for our children and youth!

As of April 1, we will make the following adjustments to our worship protocol:
No RSVPs - You no longer need to reserve a spot for in-person worship!
Masks Optional - Masks are no longer mandatory.
No Temperature Checks - If you have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay home for everyone's safety.
Nametags - Nametags are back to help us connect names with faces!
Bulletins and Hymnals - We will use the same format with lyrics included. We will project slides in the sanctuary and have a limited number of copies available.
Offering - We will be collecting offering similar to the way we did before the pandemic. You always have the option to mail in your offering or donate online.
No Food - For now, we will not have Aloha Reception or shared Communion elements. Individually wrapped juice and wafer packets are available at church.
Our United Women in Faith (formerly UMW) and Missions Committee are partnering to collect diapers for the Susannah Wesley Community Center. The goal is to collect 10,000 diapers for Mother's Day! You can drop off diapers of any size during church office hours or on Sundays, before or after worship.
We are relaunching our family and youth ministries in May! We will have Sunday school for elementary-age students during worship, as well as youth group for middle and high school students at a different time twice a month.
To celebrate on May 1, Pastor Jessica and Kyle will host our families after church for hotdogs and tie dye shirt making. It will be a great chance to meet Ms. Fukuda in person, reconnect with old friends, and meet new ones!
Leimomi, our Trustees lead, is planning a special church work day to help clean out the social hall. We'll be moving out the remaining rummage donations that were not sent to Tonga in preparation for using our space for fellowship! It will involve packing, loading, and hauling items for bulky trash and donation. We will need at least two pickup trucks to haul the trash and donations. Join us on Saturday, April 9 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Please respond by April 1 so we can have a headcount.
We are still looking for people to sign up to sponsor flowers for Sunday worship! Call or email Jay in the church office to reserve a Sunday. Remember you have the option to bring your own arrangement, order directly through a local florist, or make a donation to the church and order an "in-house" arrangement ($60 minimum with 2 weeks' notice).
