Interreg MED Green Growth Community Newsletter
April 2020

Dear colleagues,

Welcome to the Interreg MED Green Growth Community first 2020 biannual newsletter! This year, we are launching the second phase of our efforts to promote Euro-Mediterranean green growth in line with the EU Green Deal and Circular Economy Action Plan by further building upon and capitalising on the first phase of our project (2016-2019).

The Green Growth Community also extends its wishes of health and wellbeing to all our readers in the current context of COVID-19. Despite the challenges we face due to this global emergency, we remain fully committed to advocating for green growth in the Mediterranean region and are fully operational in our work. More than ever, we need to cooperate together as a global community to be the change that we want to see!

Together, these groups produced outputs aimed at decision-makers and institutional bodies, including Legal Recommendations, Policy Recommendations, thematic White Papers on the Circular Economy and a Green Growth Book. The Community works on the following thematic areas:
The Community targets the audiences contained in the "Quadruple Helix" below in order to impulse multi-stakeholder and cross-sectoral green growth efforts in the region:
