ESS Inaugural Halloween Photo Contest!
Submit your Elmy’s Special Services Halloween photo in the inaugural ESS Halloween Photo Contest. Photos must be taken in October 2019, and they must be taken at work or have a clear ESS or work-related theme to be eligible for prizes. The contest is open to ESS staff and Individuals.
Here’s how to participate:
Take your best ESS-related photo and tag ESS (@essonvanburen) with the hashtag #ESShalloween2019 by 11 a.m. on Nov. 1.
All eligible submissions will be posted in an album on ESS Facebook and Instagram page by 5 p.m. on Nov. 1.
Visit the albums and vote for your favorite Halloween photo by 1 p.m. on Nov. 2. Voting closes at 1 p.m. Nov. 2. (You must have a Facebook or instagram account to vote).
One team and one individual with the most likes on their photo will each receive a grand prize - their winning photo on a coffee mug. Working ESS judges will award a bag of candy for the spookiest and most creative costumes.
Winners will be announced on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook by 5 p.m. on Nov. 2.
Ray Knights is the Executive Director of Elmy’s Special Services, Inc. (ESS). ESS is a not-for-profit organization operating under the auspices of the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, Office for Children and Family Services, and the New York State Department of Health. ESS has successfully provided a variety of supports and services to numerous individuals with developmental disabilities in underserved minority communities within New York City for over a decade.
