Just a reminder that, if you are in a position to continue supporting the church through this time, there are many ways to donate. You can give via PayPal (with or without an account) via our Giving Page (click here) and there are links to any of the three parishes in Weston, or you can set up a Standing Order. Many thanks!

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.

When India was hit by the new variant in April, there was a sudden surge in new infections spiking to the highest ever of about 300,000 cases a day. This brought untold misery to the people of India.

Moved by this, the youngsters at Our Lady of Lourdes, Weston-super-Mare, along with Canon Tom Gunning, decided to raise money by participating in reading, singing and selling handmade bookmarks relating to 'Save the Planet'

They had also sold plants to boost the fundraising and were helped by Corpus Christi and St. Joseph's.

As a result, they raised £1,716.35 which was donated to CAFOD for their groundwork in India.
Please see the letter in our parishes notice board regarding the proposal to convert to academy status and join the Dunstan Catholic Educational Trust on the target opening date of 1 March 2022.The proposal outlined above is being considered by the governing body of six Catholic primary schools in the Dunstan Partnership based in Somerset and North Somerset. The Catholic schools are: St Gildas, SS Joseph and Teresa, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, St Joseph’s Bridgwater and the two schools in The Holy Family Catholic Federation (Corpus Christi, WSM and St Joseph’s Burnham). Please click the link below to complete a short online questionnaire by 3PM FRIDAY 26 NOVEMBER 2021
