PRAYER - ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.

CLERGY TRAINING FUND

The collection taken across the Diocese enables the Bishop to support those who offer themselves for training for the Diocesan priesthood. This fund enables the Bishop to fund their training at the seminary and offer them a grant during their years of formation. The fund, at times, is also used to support on-going formation opportunities for clergy in our Diocese and formation of permanent Deacons.

LIFTING OF COVID RESTRICTIONS
The Government rules are changing on the 19th July. We have received the Bishops’ guidance and recommend that face coverings still be worn. We will also be amending the seating area so that we can accommodate 100 people (more if there are families) but we still are adhering to social distance regulations. Also sanitising of hands is still recommended and the sanitizers will still be at the back of the church.

SINGING AT MASS
We have now received the Bishop’s guidance with regards to congregational singing and this will be permitted indoors from the 19th July. Face coverings should still be worn whilst singing together, until infection levels reduce.

Being There For Mom & Baby

Tears of joy as a mom hears the steady beat of her baby’s heart.
A rush of relief knowing that her baby is safe.
Pure joy weeks later as she holds her child for the first time.

You can be a part of these moments by helping Sister Grace Nangila purchase an ultrasound machine to serve 400 local women in the Diocese of Homa Bay in Kenya. Using this equipment to provide screenings and catch complications early on can assure that more moms have safe pregnancies and healthy babies.
