PRAYER - ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.

COMMUNAL WORSHIP

The Churches will still be open for Mass and other acts of worship following the covid-security guidance that has been published by the Bishops’ Conference after consultation with officials from Public Health England and MHCLG.

ALL MASSES WILL BE ON ZOOM

Also people must NOT mix with anyone outside their household or support bubble.

Parishioners MUST vacate the church promptly and not socialise or interact with anybody inside or outside of the church.

FINANCE COMMITTEE
We would like to urge parishioners to use the QR signs and record their appearance in the church via the NHS COVID-19 App. You can download it on your phone free of charge and then go to venue check-in and scan over the QR code.

CORPUS CHRISTI MOTHER'S PRAYER GROUP
Corpus Christi Mothers’ Prayer Group will be hosting Stations of the Cross on Zoom at 9:00 am each Thursday during Lent on the same Zoom Link as we use for Masses. Although the prayers we will be using are especially appropriate for women, everyone is very welcome to participate. We look forward to seeing you there!

STATIONS OF THE CROSS ON ZOOM

Deacon Mike Roberts will be hosting Stations of the Cross every Friday morning through Lent on the parish zoom at 9.40am.

Also beginning on Friday 26th February at 6.45 p.m. Sign in using the parish Zoom address and lasting around 35-40 minutes. We will use the images from Corpus Christi to follow the Way of the Cross. We can make Jesus' painful journey as part of our own spiritual journey through Lent. Meeting ID: 922 2054 7539. Passcode: 123

CAFOD LENT WALKING

CAFOD are running an appeal during Lent to walk 10,000 steps a day to raise money especially to provide water in countries where they do not have the basics of life.

Mike Usher-Clark is taking up the walking challenge for CAFOD through Lent. 10,000 steps a day for 40 days is 400,000 steps. He will actually try and get to half a million. You can donate via the "Just Giving" site which is dedicated to this appeal. The money at the end of the appeal goes direct to CAFOD.

Alternatively, donations can be handed into the Presbytery, or telephone the Presbytery and request that your donation is collected.
