Just a reminder that, if you are in a position to continue supporting the church through this time, there are many ways to donate. You can give via PayPal (with or without an account) via our Giving Page (click here) and there are links to any of the three parishes in Weston, or you can set up a Standing Order. Many thanks!

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.

"The Family Mass" is a mass for children mainly of primary school age (5-11 years) and their families. It is based on Sunday Gospels and liturgy, taking a key word each week, and is suitable for use in school or at home, and includes music and artwork created by children, readings read by children, and a homily which is appropriate to the children. The guidance set out in the Directory for Children's Masses and other documents is followed, and readings and prayers are chosen and adapted to be appropriate for children of this age group, and include the use of the Eucharistic Prayers for children.
The Masses are updated every Wednesday.

CAFOD are running an appeal during Lent to walk 10,000 steps a day to raise money especially to provide water in countries where they do not have the basics of life.

Mike Usher-Clark is taking up the walking challenge for CAFOD through Lent. 10,000 steps a day for 40 days is 400,000 steps. He will actually try and get to half a million. You can donate via the "Just Giving" site which is dedicated to this appeal. The money at the end of the appeal goes direct to CAFOD.

Day 17 was a personal record for Mike with 20,334 steps. Total is now 286,317 steps and £375 raised already. Thank you for everybody who has given so far.

Alternatively, donations can be handed into the Presbytery, or telephone the Presbytery and request that your donation is collected.

Katie Davies at OLOL is also walking for CAFOD

Cafod's Walk for Water is just over half way through now, raising money for solar powered water pumps for villages in countries like Ethiopia. By Day 22, Kate has walked over 262,926 steps and £410 has been donated by friends, family and parishioners. She has been blown away by people's generosity and moral support, to the point of walking alongside with a different companion on most days of the week. For updates and donations please access  or donations can be handed into the presbytery at OLOL.
