Just a reminder that, if you are in a position to continue supporting the church through this time, there are many ways to donate. You can give via PayPal (with or without an account) via our Giving Page (click here) and there are links to any of the three parishes in Weston, or you can set up a Standing Order. Many thanks!

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.

Masses for Christmas and the Octave.

You will need to book a seat at the Mass of your choice this Christmas. There will be an extra Vigil Mass but that may not be enough to accommodate everyone who wants to attend. So the Bishops of England and Wales have suggested that the other Octave Masses i.e. Dec 26th until Jan 1st be considered additional Masses to celebrate Christmas liturgically. So please select only one of the following Christmas Masses and phone or email Corpus Christi or Our Lady of Lourdes. The week-end Masses for 26th/27th Dec are the Solemnity of The Holy Family and are likely to be busy so please also book a place at one of these Masses.

Advent Carol Service
3:30 pm Sunday 13th December 2020
As we are sadly unable to meet and sing together for our traditional carol service this year, we are planning a Carol Service over the internet using Zoom. This will use the same Zoom link as for our Corpus Christi Masses, and can also be accessed by using a standard landline or mobile phone. Dial 0203 481 5240 Then when instructed by the voice over the phone enter the meeting number : 922 2054 7539 followed by the # key (found next to 0 button) Then when they ask for your User ID just press the # key Finally when asked enter the Passcode 123 followed by the # key You will then automatically join the Mass when it starts.
Our Carol Service will be aimed towards children and families, although everyone is very welcome. I am hoping that some children and parents might like to read some short sections into the camera, and I also need volunteers to sing a carol (the traditional ones we all know!) for everyone to sing along with at home. If you would like to be involved, please contact Julie Ottley asap, via the parish office
I would like as many children as possible to draw or paint a picture of a part of the Nativity Story to share at the Carol Service. If you can scan or take a photo of your picture and send it to , that would be brilliant!.

The children might like to have bells to ring when they are singing Little Donkey too. We would still love to have more readers. Ideally we would like a couple of 'child plus adult'  to read sections together. Please contact the parish office if you wish to be involved.

Prior to the Carol Service, we would like everyone to make a Christingle, which they will light as part of the Service. Alternatively, have a simple candle available. The candle can be real or battery-operated or use a birthday cake candle. Instructions for making a Christingle are as follows:
How to make a Christingle
You’ll need an orange, a candle, some tin foil, red ribbon,
cocktail sticks, dried fruit or sweets, and a pair of scissors.
Then you just do this:
•         Fasten a red ribbon around the orange
•         Cut a small cross into the top of the orange and place a square of tin foil            over it (to catch the candle wax as it drops)
•         Place the candle on top of the foil and push it firmly into the orange
•         Load a mixture of dried fruit or sweets on to the cocktail sticks, ensuring            the points are covered
 •        Insert the sticks around the base of the candle.
•         Store upright in a cool place – and don’t make them too far in advance,              as they won't keep for long.
