PRAYER - ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.

LIFTING OF COVID RESTRICTIONS AT CORPUS CHRISTI

To help protect your Fellow Parishioners and Visitors please
:
  • Wear a face covering or mask
  • Keep your distance, where ever possible leave at least a metre gap between you and the next person.
  • Either sit as 3 individuals per pew or no more than 2 separate household groups per pew – leaving a meter gap between the groups.
  • Do not kneel (the gap between you and the person sitting in front of you is too small to do this safely.)
  • If the church is full wait for a Welcomer / Steward to show you to a vacant seat

To protect yourself make sure you:
  • Sanitise your hands on entry and exit
  • If you want space between yourself and the next person, use the cards provided in the pews – more cards are also available at the back of the church
  • After the Masses/Services please leave the church promptly but feel free to socialise in the grounds outside of the churcc
  • Avoid touching surfaces (such as statues)
We will help you:
  • Use the NHS QR codes to register your attendance so the NHS Track and Trace can notify if there is a close contact.
  • If busy a Welcomer will show you to a seat
  • If the church is full we will set up speakers so you can join in from outside the church
  • The Church doors will be kept open to maximise ventilation
  • The Pews, door handles and other touch points are cleaned after every service/Mass
OLOL - Covid-19 Guidance

Due to space constraints at OLOL, we will continue with Covid-19 precautions as implemented previously, with some exceptions.

  • The capacity has been increased to suit OLOL settings. However, it will help us, tremendously, if parishioners make an effort to arrive to attend Mass at least ten minutes early.

  • Holy Water stoups will not be available. Should people wish to take holy water home, a container with a tap is provided, in the narthex, so that small bottles can be filled - please see stewards.

  • If someone has tested positive for Covid-19 who has been in the church in the last 24 hours, please notify the parish office for necessary steps to be taken.

  • Should anyone be tested positive outside the church, there is a strong emphasis on common sense, as it is the responsibility of the individuals to adhere with the government’s guidelines.

Our main aim is to create a safe space and to promote confidence in the Covid-19 security of the church.
DON'T FORGET CAFOD!
CAFOD is trying hard to assist underdeveloped countries fight coronavirus.
At the same time it has lost a lot of it's funding from parishes. Please Help!

With our prayers,
Canon Tom Gunning (Parish Priest)
Father Michael Faneye
Father Wieslaw Garbacz
Deacon Stephen Munday
Deacon Michael Roberts
Deacon Tom Moffatt
