Lectio Divina | Lenten Study
Wednesdays at 7 PM on Zoom | February 24 - March 31
Tonight is the final installment of our Lenten Lectio Divina Study. Lectio Divina, or divine reading, is an ancient practice that combines contemplative prayer with reading scripture. During this season of Lent, we’re partnering with Mt. Olivet to provide an online space where we'll explore this unique and engaging practice together. We’ll be led by Pastor Lynne and Pastors Ed Walker and Teer Hardy from Mt. Olivet. Please register using the link below so you’ll have access to the Zoom meeting.
Good Friday - April 2, 2021
We offer the opportunity to enter into a time of quiet reflection and listen to the reading of the trial and crucifixion from John’s Gospel. The reading and meditation in music will be available for you to access when you have about 20 minutes to sit quietly and reflect in a time of individual worship.
Easter Sunday - April 4, 2021
Join us for a virtual service of worship on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 at 10:30 AM. We will celebrate the Lord’s resurrection with familiar hymns - Christ the Lord is Risen Today; with a Walker Chapel - Mt Olivet joint choir presentation of the hymn, In Christ Alone; and collaboration between Walker Chapel and The Way contemporary band in a presentation of The Easter Song. James Wright is our Lay Leader and Liturgist for Easter Sunday and Pastor Lynne brings the word of God to us. The Lord is Risen - The Lord is Risen indeed, Alleluia!
