This past Sunday, Rev. Randy D'Angelo blessed MCCLV's Delegates to the triennial, global General Conference: "Lord, we invoke your blessing on all those whom you have called forth to act as representatives of this local body. We thank you for the General Conference of Metropolitan Community Churches, for clergy delegates Goudy and Randy, and lay delegates Wendy and Bam. We ask, O God, that you tune our hearts to hear and discern clearly your voice. As we tackle the business of General Conference, pour into our hearts a divine measure of your most holy wisdom so we may guide well this denomination on behalf of all who worship here. Help us to bear the reconciliation of Christ as we work with others to determine your perfect will. May the light of Christ shine in us and the Spirit of Christ guide us as we complete this important work. We look with eager anticipation to the good things you have in store. And let all God’s people say, Amen."

Upcoming Class on Discipleship

Being a disciple can be challenging, yet there is joy along the journey. Join in a class on being a disciple on social media, at the workplace and in the neighborhood. The class will be held on Tuesday, June 28 at 6pm online and 7pm in-person in the Social Hall. In his Letter to the Church in Rome, Paul writes: What I don’t understand about myself is that I decide one way, but then I act another, doing things I absolutely despise.
