Fan or Follower?

Are you a fan of Jesus or a follower of Jesus? Consider this question and others by joining MCCLV for a special seven-part book study on "Not a Fan" led by Rev. Randy D'Angelo. The study will begin Tuesday, July 19 @ 7pm and will be an online only class via Zoom. There are three free books available (one in English, two in Spanish). See Rev. MCCLV Retreat Update

There has been a location change for MCCLV's Annual Retreat. It will be held at the church building on Saturday, June 11 from 11am-3pm. Lunch will be provided. Rev. Goudy will start the time together with a message titled "Here I Am, Lord/Here We Are, Lord." The retreat will include other teaching as well as time for reflection. Tricky Tray Update

MCCLV's Tricky Tray Basket Raffle is just over 4 months away! The next Planning Team Meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 13th at 6:30pm in Room 208 at the church. The Team needs volunteers to pull off the event including people to solicit donations from local businesses, proof readers, administrative help, decoration creators, photographers and video editors. All welcome at the Team Meeting, contact Lisa Engle (LisaEngle@mcclv.info) for details.
End Solitary Confinement Townhall

Listen to a group of panelists as they discuss the importance of ending solitary confinement through the ballot process. Sponsored by the Lehigh Valley Stands Up organization, join on Thursday, June 16 at 7:30pm at 215 N. 9th Street, Allentown. To attend via Zoom, email cece@pastandsup.org. Panelists will include representatives from the Lackawanna NAACP, Abolitionist Law Center, Penn Franchise and people who have been impacted by solitary confinement.

Healing Our Most Drama-Filled Relationship

Join MCCLV for a fun and enlightening two-part series in June titled “Healing Our Most Drama-Filled Relationship.” The classes will focus on developing a healthier and more spiritual relationship with money. Jesus had a lot to say about money and all churches are called to teach on the gracious sharing of resources.
