$6,385: Helping Households in Need
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic MCCLV has provided $6,385 in grocery store gift cards to people in need. MCCLV is focusing on households where there has been a lay off or there are reduced work hours. Additionally, MCCLV is supporting six families referred by Buchanan Elementary School and the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center.
Are you experiencing work disruptions or paycheck problems and are in need of assistance with grocery bills? Contact HowardPetersStrickland@mcclv.info or RevBethGoudy@mcclv.info to receive cards or facilitate cards for someone in need. To donate to the Grocery Store Gift Card program, go to http://www.mcclv.org, click on the PayPal button and note that it is for "Food Cards." Or, write a check to MCCLV with "Food Cards" in the memo line. Thank you for helping Lehigh Valley individuals, couples and families with their groceries.

Worshiping in the Yellow Phase
At some point in the "Yellow Phase" of pandemic re-opening, MCCLV will be returning to in-person worship. However, this will be a very different worship experience due to directives from the State of Pennsylvania. For instance, MCCLV will be limited to 25 people on the property and will use an online reservation process for attendance. Stay tuned to this e-listserve for details.
