Sister District Philadelphia knows your time is valuable; that’s why we support ONLY strategically important AND winnable state races.
As a SD Philadelphia volunteer, you'll be paired with one or more 'sister' districts across the country to flip, hold or make inroads to turn state legislative districts from #redtoblue.
In 2019, we are supporting Shelly Simonds and Wendy Gooditis, both running for the Virginia House of Delegates. 2019 is a huge year for Virginia—Democrats are just two seats down from flipping both the House of Delegates and the Senate, which would make the state a Democratic trifecta. Help us get this amazing candidate elected!

- Donate to our candidates in Virginia—every dollar counts in these small state legislature races!
- Join our team’s Facebook group, and sign up for one of our events! We are fundraising, phonebanking, canvassing, postcard-writing, and textbanking for our candidates.
