Or just come along and join in Connecting Your Community to Christ!
4. Conversations about LGBT issues
We are blessed that fellowship groups are a safe space for many to speak openly and so, in response to a need for the church to talk more about LGBT issues, the elders have invited George Ryan to visit each fellowship group this autumn to facilitate open, loving conversations about LGBT issues. These visits are not to teach or to direct the church to a new position; there is no underlying agenda to reach a single point of view. These visits are about breaking the silence and listening to one another.

If you are in a fellowship group, your group leader will let you know what date George is visiting, and will offer you with some material to read in advance of the discussion.

If you are not in a fellowship group, you are very welcome to take part too. Please sign up here by the end of September to join in a facilitated conversation, either by visiting an existing fellowship group you have a link with, or at a one-off get-together with George and others.

George has already facilitated this conversation for the elders and staff, and then for the fellowship group leaders, and we found that there is room for us to disagree with grace and still be one church. We pray you will find the same and enjoy this opportunity to share more together. If you have any concerns, please contact your elder or fellowship group leader, as appropriate.
5. Join the Church Membership
If you're planning to make West Kirby URC your spiritual home, we would love to invite you to explore becoming a member of the church. Please contact Tony or Liz Wilson (two of our elders) / to express your interest or visit to find out more.

Colin writes, "Jenny and I are making an application to join this Liverpool City Region scheme to get Solar panels and batteries installed (just batteries in our case). If anyone in the congregation is considering either, or both, it would be worth registering. There is no obligation. Here is the link: Group-buying for solar | Liverpool City Region ("

A message from our partners at Reach Christian Counselling :"Please find below a link to the Supporter’s Café on our website which has just been updated with our current news. We hope that you enjoy reading about the things that you as a Partner are making possible".
