Remembering Coinneach Moireasdan | Kenneth Allan Morrison

Chaill saoghal na Gàidhlig guth binn eile on a shiubhal Coinneach Moireasdan. Na thidsear fad iomadh bliadhna, bha e riamh ag obair airson na coimhearsnachd. Aithniche mar dheagh sheinneadair Ghàidhlig, bha e moiteil ás a dhualchas aige fhéin, is riamh deònach a chuid eòlas thoirt seachad do fheadhainn eile. 'S an dealbh seo, tha e far an deach a thogail - Loch Lomainn. Dia bhi math dha.

Obituary

The Gaelic world has lost another voice with the passing of Kenny Morrison. He spent many years as a teacher, and was always lending a hand for the good of his community. Known as an excellent Gaelic singer, he was proud of his Gaelic roots and very willing to share that knowledge with others. This picture shows him where he grew up, in Loch Lomond.

Remembering Les MacKinnon

Those who knew Les know what an enthusiastic supporter of the music he was. He also loved to visit and make connections, and had friends in just about every corner of the province. Les' dedication to the Halifax Cape Breton Dances helped bring people together in support of music and dance for many years.
