Jubilee, your commitment to prayer inspires and encourages us.

During this season of worship at home, you consistently share your prayer concerns with Jubilee.  And, Jubilee prays together.  The Holy Spirit connects us profoundly through our corporate prayers.

For example, see the list of prayer requests and celebrations below.  And, pray along with the 2021 Prayers for Jubilee video also below.

“Then Jesus told his disciples…that they should always pray and not give up.”  Luke 18:1 (NIV)

Keep on praying together, Jubilee,
Duane and Elaine

Pastor Duane offers this prayer for our Nation:

We pray for healing for our country.
We pray that we can live and love with our differences.
We pray for racial justice.
We pray for wisdom for how to beat this pandemic.
We pray that 2021 will be a year of healing.

Amen.

This week we pray for...

Charlotte Cermack asks for continued prayer for Don.

We will also continue to pray for Nona Romero’s mom, Lynette as she waits for biopsy results for the tumor on her back.

Joel Diener shares, “Josiah got a cast on his leg Friday morning and he's doing well. Assuming the bone heals as expected, the cast can come off in about 4 weeks. Joel and Lindsay are grateful for the prayers and support of the congregation.”  Let’s keep praying for their family as Josiah heals.

Celebrate...

Hakeem Doss texts:  “Thank ya’ll for the prayer.  My cousin is at home now but he is still in a little pain.  God is good.”

We thank God that Williams Betancourt’s father’s health is improving.  He is still hospitalized but has been moved to a room.  Lupita shares that they are grateful to God and for your prayers.

Brenda Buxton, “My son and grandson are doing great!  Thanks for your prayers and love.”

If you have any prayer requests you would like shared in the pastoral prayer time of this Sunday's worship service, please send them to Duane or Elaine Maust.

Responding to Worship with Weekday Worship:

Mark 1:9-11

Create a reminder that you are God’s beloved child.

Create a simple ritual to daily experience God’s love and say, “I am God’s beloved child.”

Share your ideas with us!

Preparing for Sunday:

Here I am Lord

Read I Samuel 3:1-10 and join us for worship Sunday.

As Samuel listened for God’s call, I hope we have open ears and hearts to respond to God’s call.

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us,
that we should be called children of God!
And that is what we are!
