UGA Pharmacy Preview Days a Success

UGA Pharmacy Preview Days, a slate of virtual activities designed to raise awareness of the field to prospective new students, was held for the first time this April with great success. An astonishing 193 registrants participated in six novel events ranging from an overview of graduate programs to meet-and-greets with professional student organizations. The program’s featured event, a Pharmacy Program Open House, saw current high school, undergraduate, and working pharmacy technician attendees tune-in from 13 states. Geolocated social media advertising released in Athens and the Atlanta Metro ensured half of all participants were from these coveted areas. Thank you to all of our College’s students, faculty, and staff for helping to mount this extraordinary program. The landing page for UGA Pharmacy Preview Days 2021 is still live and contains links to both our newly released 360-degree virtual tour and Pharm.D. Admissions Blog.
