The Vermont Department of Health will be on campus Tuesdays and Wednesdays through October to administer flu shots and COVID-19 boosters to all interested UVM community members—faculty, staff, and students.

Look for them in the Davis Center’s Burack Fireplace Lounge (1st floor) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday through the rest of this month. These do not require pre-registration at this location.

UVM Catamount Educational Farm Apple and Vegetable Sales begin September 2 at the UVM Horticulture Research and Education Center, 65 Green Mountain Drive, South Burlington, VT and will continue every Friday through at least November 8 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Weekly updates on apple varieties available will be found at our Facebook page.
Interdepartment apple orders should be submitted at: https://go.uvm.edu/appleorder. Please post them at least one week in advance.

The HRC is located behind GE Healthcare (former IDX) and the Heritage car dealerships off Shelburne Road in South Burlington. From Campus Follow Spear Street South to Swift Street, take a right at the light and follow Swift St to the end. Turn left on US Route 7 and travel 1.5 miles south. Turn left at the traffic light onto IDX Drive. Travel .3 miles on IDX Drive and turn left onto the Horticultural Research Center access road.

This class will take you through some of the more prominent polices as they apply to employees here at the University. Some of the topics that will be discussed will be FMLA & VPFLA, FLSA, and Workers Compensation. We will also discuss and consider general issues of supervision in a collective bargaining environment.
