Sen. Sanders endorses Kristina Shelton for Wisconsin State Assembly.

Good morning friends,

I just found out that our campaign has been endorsed by Senator Bernie Sanders. This is an incredibly important and exciting day for me and our campaign.

As an advocate for working people and I know how much Bernie means to Green Bay. In 2016, he won Brown County by 15 points. His leadership on healthcare, economic justice, and climate action resonates with our community. His vision for building a progressive agenda through a social movement is what inspired me to get involved in politics. I believe that we can only transform Wisconsin and this country when we work together.

Here's what Sanders said in today's press release:

“Our campaign was never about one election or one candidate. The only way our movement can continue is if we work together to elect great, progressive candidates at every level of government, in every state in this country. I am proud to endorse these excellent leaders who will make a difference in the lives of Wisconsinites. Together we will create a Wisconsin and a nation based on social justice, racial justice, economic justice, and environmental justice for all.”

But this race isn't over yet. For the first time since 2014, the 90th has a Republican candidate. We can't afford for a single Brown County vote to be taken from Joe Biden and the Democratic ticket. By supporting us, you're helping get out the vote in this critical part of America. If you can, please donate $15, $25, or $50 today.

Thank you for everything you're doing to help us finish strong. Together, we'll build our movement for the people and the planet.

In solidarity,

Kristina
