Congrats to TACL, Happy 30 years anniversary! We have plenty fun memories on weekly meetings, speeches, evaluations and table topics, intermission chattering, and picnics, field trips, Halloween party, Christmas party, and we even did shows and plays! What a fun to do all these activities with toastmaster friends! On June 5th, we had 25 people together celebrate this event, toasting to the club, sharing toastmaster experience, and presenting awards. We also did a fun table topic showcase. It was a very special event for us, not only we met in person to celebrate, but also everyone received a prize for coming to the event!
Here is the meeting highlights of this month. On June 5, at 30th anniversary, Stephen and Sherry received trophies for being 30 years of toastmasters. They gave award acceptance speeches. On June 13, Sunny presented a speech on understanding communication styles and how to be a better communicator. Kevin led a table topic theme from point A to point B, and he gave a wide scope of questions. On June 20, Brian delivered his second speech talking about the present actions affect your future. He emphasized the importance of creativity in children education, and talked about his plan to teach students in Taiwanese School. Patrick’s table topic was about Summer, the most relevant theme since we have scorching hot days!
