Body, Mind & Spirit: Learn Skills for Your Pandemic Coping Toolkit

* how to listen more deeply - to your inner voice plus other people; and
* how to access your wisdom with a contemplative practice.

Virtual Tour of the Mohawk Institute Indian Residential School, Brantford

1 hour tour, followed by 30 minutes of Q+A

This virtual tour video was created with local production company Thru the Reddoor, and it follows the guide, Lorrie Gallant, as she gives a tour of the former Mohawk Institute Indian Residential School. During the video, Lorrie provides the history of the institution over its 140 year history. Viewers will get to see the different rooms in the school, from the girl's and boy's dormitories, the cafeteria, laundry room, and the other rooms throughout the building, as well as hear interviews from five Survivors. This is one of two opportunities to tour: September 29 @7pm or September 30 @ 2pm. Space is limited to 40 people in each. Registration is free. Reserve a place by e-mailing Ruthanna Mack . Names will be collected for a waitlist so if you are unable to attend please let us know ASAP.

Preaching from the Old Testament: Queen's Annual Theology Conference

This event features Theme speaker:

William Morrow (Ph.D. 1988) taught biblical studies in Queen’s Theological College from 1987–2012, and in the department of Religious Studies of Queen’s University until 2019. His research has focused on biblical law in its ancient Near Eastern context, the history of complaint prayer, and the effects of violence on the development of biblical religion.
