2021 Emory Quality Conference: Save the date and poster submission process

Dear Colleagues, 

Please save the date for the 2021 Emory Quality Conference, which will take place Monday, April 13, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the WSHC Auditorium and will be simulcast live to additional locations included below. This year’s conference will feature speaker Dr. Shivan J. Mehta, Associate Chief Innovation Officer, Penn Medicine Center for Innovation, Perelman School of Medicine. Additional details, including a link for registration, will be sent in the coming weeks. 

Conference simulcast locations:

  • Emory University Hospital Midtown – Davis Fischer Classroom 1 
  • Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital – Classrooms 1, 2 and 3

2020 Emory Quality Conference Poster Submission Process
As in past years, we would like to recognize our quality accomplishments through a quality improvement poster gallery. Your participation would be greatly appreciated, as we would like to solicit such works from your teams and showcase them at the conference. Please read below for details on the poster submission process.

Poster Topic:
Seeking submissions about quality improvement in patient care and education

Questions to consider as you design your poster presentations:

1.     How have you improved patient care or made it safer?

2.     Have you improved trainee education? If so, how?

We encourage collaboration between health professions and/or departments and the involvement of trainees.

Poster scoring criteria: 

1.     Clarity of hypothesis or improvement aim

2.     Appropriateness of methods

3.     Clarity of data display

4.     Relevance and importance of the conclusions

5.     Inclusion of trainees

6.     Demonstration of interprofessional teamwork

  Poster Presentation

·            We encourage you to reuse posters that have been created for prior events. Otherwise, consider using the attached templates to design your poster.

·            You are responsible for printing your own poster, including the cost of printing. Please consider printing size 48in x 60in or smaller.

  Poster Registration
  Due MARCH 23, 2020




·         All poster submissions will be accepted and displayed during the event.

·         Your poster presentation location will be emailed to you the week before the event.
