The level of commitment, empathy and passion shown by NHS staff, healthcare professionals and scientists during the pandemic has been truly humbling. And the collaborative approach between healthcare providers and the health tech industry must also be applauded – there has been a significant step-change in the use of digital in helping overcome the service pressures due to the pandemic.  

As a company we have done our utmost to support our customers and partners in tackling Covid-19, whilst continuing to deliver mission critical and business as usual services. In a change to recent trends, the framework offers a much more flexible procurement route for the NHS, and encourages a vibrant supplier market.

Exciting new collaboration with ADI Health to tackle patient backlog

In a bid to help tackle the patient backlog in the NHS, we have teamed up with ADI Health. By integrating our solutions we can help trusts revalidate and reprioritise their elective waiting lists and improve the ways in which they engage/treat patients, including introducing exciting new features such as patient initiated follow-ups and digital shared decision making.

eLearning launch was accelerated in response to the pandemic

We have been developing an online training platform for customers using our PAS (PCS) since 2019, however due to the significant demand for virtual interactions, we’re delighted to have been able to launch it sooner than initially planned. The video tutorials and courses are hosted by an NHS approved platform and now available to all customers.

First-ever virtual user group meeting labelled as a great success

To continue running our successful user group meetings during the pandemic, we hosted our first virtual session with representatives from all 12 PAS customer sites at the end of last year. This online session provided us with invaluable feedback on recent product changes and the opportunity to discuss customer needs in a post-COVID era.

A positive outlook for 2021

We’re extremely hopeful about the rest of the year – the adoption of technology in the NHS in the last 12 months should be celebrated. And it creates a platform for us to collectively make great strides in digital transformation.
